We start big, and then we learn to minimize. Learn how to cut from the hip and just hold on to your sword. That is how the power is generated. Learn to transfer your body weight through your sword. Eventually, you will learn how to minimize your movement and still generate the same amount of power. This is how you learn to generate power for "big cutting"!
