Who - Henry, Ron, Kyle, Neil, Julie, Toshi
Worked on Group kata
a) group kata is a bit different because you must pace yourself to follow the person in front.
b) always follow the speed of the most senior person. Don't go ahead but don't lag behind too much either
c) don't directly stare at the person next to you to see clues for timing, rather just look from the corner of your eye
Cutting
Kyle -
a) your cut is too steep, and you go down the middle of the tatami because you force too much with the right hand
b) when you cut towards your right, you have a tendency to get stuck because you torque too much with your right hand.
Neil -
a) lower your center
b) cut to the side of the stand
c) wider stance
Ron -
a) flat sui hei
b) more consistent angles
c) try to stay calm even if things start going south
Henry -
a) consistent angles
b) flat sui hei
c) spacing is key
