Who - Dan, Henry
Went over the Nakamura Ryu kata 1-8.
a) the transitioning between cuts and the timing with the step with the cut is the most difficult to get used to
b) for kata 3-6, finish the cut, and start the transition before the step to help with timing
c) the sword should be loose when transitioning (almost a floating feel) which is much like how to transition in cuts like mizu gaeshi etc
d) the thing i really like about the Nakamura kata is that we acutally get to use the 8 noto and different kamae
e) Henry needs to slow down and smooth things out
f) Dan has trouble remembering which side is which
