a) Use your hips

a) No figure 8's, keep your sword leveled
b) don't let your hands outrun your sword

6) Seigan
a) kissaki is too high, needs to be throat high
b) be big and intimidating

7) chiburi
a) hand height between shoulder and hip
b) kissaki should be along the front line of your forward foot
c) on your left hand, keep your fingers together


Kyle
Stance -
a) head back
b) back straight

Downwards cut
a) dont drop your kissaki behind your head when you cut
b) big, far, out. Reach out and cut someone

Kesa
a) dont cut from the side of your head, cut from the top
b) don't drop your kissaki before you cut

Gyaku kesa
a) arc is no good
b) hands should finish almost head height, little higher
c) keep your back straight, should not be leaning

Sui hei
a) no figure 8's
b) keep your cuts leveled

seigan
a) kissaki is too high
b) shoulders back and relax

chiburi
a) keep your fingers together


Kata -
For both
a) when you make the initial 3 steps, make it smooth steps and not like frankenstein steps
b) loud kiai
c) kiai with the cut, not before or after
d) nice strong posture
